REBUILD.

Launched in January of 2022, REBUILD connects BIPOC formerly incarcerated individuals to therapists of color. Therapist connectors (including formerly incarcerated people and people who have lived experiences with mental health challenges) assist in matching formerly incarcerated and injustice-involved individuals with therapists of color. This assistance includes finding and vetting therapists, setting up appointments, facilitating the payment process, and paying for therapy for some.

REBUILD connects BIPOC formerly incarcerated individuals to therapists of color, in partnership with Darkness RISING Project, BEAM, Mariame Kaba and Depressed While Black, with the support of generous donors.

Finding a LGBTQIA+ Therapist

QuIPP

A group of mental health professionals who specialize in working with marginalized groups…especially the LGBTQIA+ community. Their therapists know the basics of what it means to be “other,” queer, kinky, poly, spiritual, religious & queer, and systemically-oppressed. So, you won’t have to waste time explaining why your pronouns must be respected, what a polycule is, or why you panic when you see police.
